After hours veterinary care
Emily’s aunty is a veterinary nurse and the amazing animal tales and hospital stories inspired Emily to become a veterinary nurse. Emily enjoys the veterinary industry because of the diversity of different cases and animals and because every day is different.
Emily wanted to work at Treendale because the hospital is exceptional and because the facilities and equipment are first class. Emily really likes the staff at Treendale because they are helpful and friendly and they put the patients and clients above all else which fits with her personal value system because it is also her highest priority. Emily enjoys the team environment at Treendale and she gets to do what she loves in a stimulating environment where everyone is supportive and are encouraging each other to do their best.
Emily is hard working and efficient and is able to multi task. These are the essential core strengths to be a good veterinary nurse. Emily is very caring and always smiling. She has slotted seamlessly into our friendly team and we enjoy working with her.
Outside of work Emily enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog and having a coffee with friends and family. Emily also really likes to travel and enjoys discovering new places.
Emily’s team first mentality, calmness, discipline and emotional intelligence made her an obvious choice for the team leader of our veterinary nursing team. She has fulfilled the leadership role with aplomb. Emily is developing her leadership skills through the Lincoln Institute and her exceptional nursing skills and leadership qualities make her a highly valued member of our organisation. She is well liked by her team members, her patients and our clients alike.
