From bloodwork to biopsies and advanced imaging – we can provide an accurate on-site diagnosis. And we’ll give you genuine, honest advice about the best possible treatment options for your pet.

Surgical Oncology

Dr Rob is a highly trained and experienced surgeon. If your pet needs surgery to remove the cancer, Dr Rob can operate in one of our fully equipped on-site theatres.

Chemotherapy

Your pet can receive chemotherapy on site. Dr Rob can consult with the world’s best cancer specialists in the US to tailor a chemotherapy regime specifically for your pet.

Custom-Built Recovery Wards

We have separate cat and dog wards where your pet can recover from surgery or treatment. The environment has been created to minimise their stress and maximise their comfort and recovery.

Your pet undergoes a gentle, thorough examination by an experienced vet.

Accurate diagnosis is carried out by our on-site team using bloodwork, biopsies or advanced imaging to give you fast results. Bloodwork results are available in minutes and we provide same-day diagnostic imaging.
Some pathology samples are sent to a lab in Perth for accurate specialist diagnosis that takes a few days.

Your vet will share your pet’s results with you, explain what they mean, offer honest advice about treatment options and answer any questions you have.

We’ll start the agreed treatment plan, which will be carried out on site and may include the following:

  • surgery
  • chemotherapy
  • a combination of both
  • medication

Surgery – performed by a skilled, experienced surgeon.
Your pet will be handled gently, monitored, cared for by a qualified nurse, and sedated throughout. They will recover in one of our fear-free pet wards until they are able to go home Your pet will get many different types of analgesia to make them comfortable after surgery.

Chemotherapy – your pet may need chemotherapy as not all cancers can be cured with surgery alone. Did you know that 80% of pets have no side effects from chemotherapy? So it isn’t as scary as it sounds.

If both surgery and chemo are required, the schedule will be included in your pet’s treatment plan.
