After Hours Vet Australind, Western Australia 6233
If your pet needs medical attention and your regular veterinarian is not available, you need to visit an after hours veterinary that is open even outside business hours.
When you arrive at the veterinary hospital, you will be greeted by a receptionist. They will ask you questions about your pet’s medical history and the current problem. The receptionist will then triage your pet, which means they will assess the urgency of your pet’s condition and determine the veterinarian’s order to see them.
Once the veterinarian sees you, they will perform a physical examination. They may recommend some diagnostic tests, such as x-rays or blood work, to help determine the cause of your pet’s problem. The veterinarian will then develop a treatment plan and discuss it with you.
Treatment for your pet may be provided outpatient or may require hospitalisation. Outpatient treatment means your pet will be seen by the veterinarian and then home with you. Hospitalisation may be necessary if your pet requires intensive care or surgery.
After your pet is discharged, you will be given instructions for at-home care. These instructions may include sharing your pet’s medication, changing your pet’s diet, or providing physical therapy. You must follow these instructions closely to help your pet recover quickly and avoid complications.
Pet patients who cannot move can wait for mobile vets. Mobile vets travel to see their patients rather than patients coming to see them. This can be an excellent option for those who have difficulty getting their pet to the vet or those who have busy schedules and cannot make it to the vet during regular business hours.
Here are a few things to keep in mind if you consider taking your pet to see a mobile vet.
First, check if the mobile vet you consider is licensed and insured. You can usually find this information on their website or by calling the office.
Second, make sure that the mobile vet you choose is experienced in treating your pet type. You can ask the vet for references or look for online reviews.
Finally, make sure you understand the Mobile Vet’s fees and payment policy before making an appointment.
If you have a pet that needs to see a vet but cannot make it to the clinic during regular business hours, a mobile vet will be excellent. Just make sure you research to find a reputable and experienced mobile vet.
Many veterinarians near you can help take care of your pet. You can find a good vet by searching online or asking your friends for recommendations. Once you find a few vets that you like, you can call them to ask about their services and fees.

Cats, dogs and many other animals see ultraviolet light so, for them, white appears like a glowing neon violet. Sounds terrifying doesn’t it?
We’ve decorated our spaces using calming shades of cream and other fear-free colours instead.
Our team is trained in gentle animal handling to help your pet feel safe. We know things like needles can be scary, so we’re skilled at distracting animals before an injection.
We make sure they never see a needle.
